USA surgeons staff both the adult Level 1 trauma center and the pediatric comprehensive care center at Erlanger Medical Center, providing yearly inpatient surgical care to more than 3,000 of the regions most critically injured trauma patients.
The adult Level 1 trauma center is manned by USA ABS board certified surgeons in-house 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
They are immediately available to attend to the traumatically injured patients of the region, and provide surgical care for the broad spectrum of injuries seen from both blunt and penetrating trauma.
USA's Trauma group is also heavily involved in ongoing research in the form of clinical research studies.
