This is an emerging area of general surgery in the Chattanooga region consisting of acutely ill patients who require immediate surgical evaluation and emergent/urgent care.

USA surgeons are immediately available at Erlanger Trauma Center 24-hours a day, seven days a week, providing emergent/urgent care to these patients.
