Your VDS Appointment

All studies performed at VDS must be ordered by a physician, with the exception of screening examinations. When scheduling a vascular study at VDS, please have the following information available:

      Patient name
      Phone number
      Study ordered (please be as specific as possible)
      Name of ordering physician
      Insurance Company
      Diagnosis (this is mandatory)

Referring physicians are called immediately if there is an abnormal venous ultrasound (for deep vein thrombosis), a carotid ultrasound with high grade stenosis or a hemodynamically significant abnormal arterial lower exam.

If the patient is returning to the physician’s office, a preliminary report will be sent with them. To schedule a study, please call us at (423) 756-1342.
