Who We Are  

Introduced to the Chattanooga community in 1976, University Surgical Associates (USA) has grown from a two-surgeon practice to one of the largest multi-specialty surgical groups in the southeast.

Supported by more than 130 employees, USA’s 29 surgeons take great pride in providing quality and compassionate surgical care for their patients; professional support for area physicians facing critical or complicated cases; and the training of surgeons and medical students through a comprehensive residency program.

USA serves its patients at seven conveniently located offices in and around the Greater Chattanooga region, and enjoys local privileges at Erlanger, Parkridge, Memorial, and Rhea County hospital systems.

Through the leadership of our surgeons and in partnership with our employees, USA offers a unique combination of compassionate surgical care, professional regional support, and an ongoing commitment toward education - all with the intent of improving the quality of life for the citizens of our community.
